We hope you can join us to dive into God's design for a successful marriage and family.

Everyone lacks something—even those you believe have it all together. When we used to search marriage podcasts, we'd glance at the cover picture, see two smiling faces, and assume the couples doing them led an idyllic life. Then we had the chance to meet a few and, surprise-surprise, they're just like you and me. Ordinary people in need of the grace of God. Our story, like every Christian story, is God's story of grace.

So often, Christian marriage books are filled with unclear suggestions and overly abstract philosophies. But couples in the real world want concrete answers. We build IKEA shelves step by step. Readable. Tabulated. Clear. Practical application. We've written this Little Red Book to help you with just that.

We hope you can join us—beyond photoshopped podcast pics, curated social media accounts, and perhaps even our preconceived notions of a fairytale marriage—to dive into God's design for a successful marriage and family.

(Adapted from the Foreword & Introduction)

From the Little Red Book

  • “A marriage without commitment will never work. If marriage is set up with an exit plan available to either partner, it doesn't have a chance.”

  • “It’s impossible to have a strong tree without deep roots, and likewise it’s impossible to have a strong marriage without deep spirituality.”

  • “Our husbands will only thrive as leaders if we work diligently to praise them as their followers.”

  • “For married couples, foreplay starts when you get out of bed in the morning, not when you get into bed at night. Sex was meant to be an external expression of an internal condition.”

  • “Husbands are wired to run off respect, meaning so long as they feel respected, they will strive to build. Sadly, when he feels disrespect at home, he will begin to shrink internally, questioning his purpose.”

  • “Never stop dating your wife! Pursue her. Physical intimacy in the bedroom begins with emotional attention outside of it.”
